These are so good, that even if you own the original set, these are a must have. They are cooler to the touch because of the new rims, and, in comparison with regular hot rollers, there is no exposed metal, so no chance of burning yourself. I love the fact that they have universal wattage, so they are perfect for international travel. This case is meant to be more luxurious than the predecessor case, and it seems to be larger in overall volume, though the specific components are certainly not larger – the ensemble is more loosely packed. I’ll probably separate the set from the case for carry-on travel. Note that they need to be turned on for each use (they don’t automatically stay in the on position).

Fantastic Hot Rollers

These are far and away the best rollers I’ve ever had. Even better, I think they work with pretty much any hair type.

Well made and easy to use. Comes complete in a travel bag.

I’ve never owned a set of rollers before and have been using these for awhile. I absolutely love them! They come packaged nicely in a black leather case and everything fits inside. The rollers come with a charging base and eight curlers and clips, with instructions. You simply plug it in, determine how hot you want the rollers to be and wait for the rollers to indicate they are ready. Once ready you place them in your hair (which did take a bit of a learning curve on how I wanted to place them) and clip them in. Then leave the curlers for about twenty or so minutes to do their magic. They really help the ends of my hair, which is thick, giving it a bit of volume. The curls last for about half the day for me, mostly because I have kids and I’m running around. I’ve been surprised with how long it has lasted. I don’t use this every day, but the occasions I use it I find it quick and easy while I’m getting ready in the morning. It’s a lot of fun to add something different to me normal flat hair, so I’m quite happy with it.

These heat up quickly and are much faster than a curling iron for those with hard-to-curl hair

My hair is perfect to give these a really good test. My hair is very long, course and difficult to curl. Using a curling iron usually takes me around an hour to do my whole head.

Leaves a nice bounce to my hair

I have hair that is a bit longer than shoulder length, it’s color treated and it’s thick. I have always used hot rollers of one type or another as my hair is too heavy for a curling iron and it takes too long for me to use one.
