I like this cream

I’m only 18 weeks into my pregnancy, so I’m not really in stretch mark territory yet, so I can’t speak to that effect. But so far, I like this cream. It is very moisturizing and not greasy and doesn’t smell funky. I am actually reviewing more to say that I’m not sure why this product is around $60 on here, but it is only $20 at target! Just wanted to give people a head’s up on that!
Best cream ever

Best cream ever!!! I used it in my first pregnancy. Results? No even one stretch mark! Wohooo! This is my second pregnancy, and I’m as happy as I was before. Worth every cent!
Stretch mark free!

This stuff is liquid gold. I used it while pregnant with my twins and gained over 80 lbs all in my belly without getting a single stretch mark. Using it again this pregnancy at at 34 weeks so far so good. I will say the key to any stretch mark cream is to use it from the minute you find out you’re expecting! And for those who say it’s all hereditary, I’m sure there is truth to that but all the women in my family are super prone to stretch marks and I got a ton on my legs during puberty. I am a huge believer in the mustela line!
Having a baby is real hard on a mothers body. I remember my OB/GYN telling me it takes 2 years for a mothers body to recover from childbirth. So I ordered this Mustela stretch mark prevention cream for my daughter-in-law that was expecting. She just recently blessed us with our first grandson. He was a large baby, and she is a tiny, petite young woman. She told me she has some stretch marks but that she’s putting this cream on everyday and it seems to help. She told me that she was using a different cream, but she thought the Mustela was better than her other product. Plus she’s more appreciative of this cream since it’s more natural and paraben free and won’t hurt the baby while she’s breastfeeding. Mother and baby products are so advanced since my childbirth days, and I’m so happy and grateful for that. Thanks Mustela!
Good for scars and existing stretch marks.
I’ve never been pregnant but I have lateral hip stretch marks from growing 6″ in a year in high school. They are easily irritated and prone to dermatitis. I also have a large thoracic scar from childhood heart surgery. This also is prone to be irritated by nearly anything.
I like that it is a cream
I’ve been using this cream to avoid stretch marks during my current pregnancy. It has not helped eliminate the stretch marks, but I hope it’s at least making them less obvious. (I wasn’t willing to try the cream on my right side, and use my left side as a control — I wanted the benefits everywhere!)
24.5 Weeks and No Stretch Marks as of Yet (Fingers Cross xx)
I’m currently 24.5 weeks pregnant, and I’ve been using this since the start of the 2nd tri. I try to use it it daily, and now that I am further along, planning on increasing that to 2x/day. I am up 20+ lbs already (!), and so far I have zero stretch marks. This cream is on the thicker side but it is absorbed easily, and I haven’t had a problem with it staining my clothes. It’s lightly scented with a fairly neutral smell. I still wear perfume or scented body creams and this does not counteract them. I find the cap very hard to flip open, and resort to using my teeth or a towel to help get it open.
