Over and over I try to find a cheaper zinc based facial sunscreen and I always come back and spend all my money on this one.

Just like the Piña Colada spray, this is a fantastic product. I don’t wear makeup that often living in Florida so this is perfect. A little matte tint which makes my face look nicer plus I’m protected from the sun. I curl my lashes, put on a baby pink blush and a little something on my lips and I’m good to go!! The color is a natural color and when I put it on, it feels so silky soft and it blends right in. Plus, there is no smell which i love! I even notice that my pores look smaller and my complexion more even. I don’t notice a white cast from it but I have seen some people say that they do. However, a little goes a long way. I think that it would be good on any skin tone. I’m not kidding when I say this is my favorite sunscreen! I added 2 photos below of the product on my wrist and then blended in. I hope you can see the color and how well it blends. I want to add that this leaves no white cast.
Good product, feels great going on, could use more coverage for a "tinted" moisturizer

I initially got this product as a sample from Birchbox and decided to get the full size. It is a lot cheaper here on Amazon than on the Birchbox site. Although they’re the same product, it seemed like the Birchbox one offered more coverage. I would like more coverage (minus one star for the limited coverage) but otherwise this is a great product that can be used on its own or as a primer. The matte feel is particularly good in the summer when my skin tends to get oilier.
So far I love this product

So far I love this product… it is lightweight and feels like silk on my skin. The tint is a bit lighter than I thought, but it works well with my medium beige complexion. If my sensitive skin continues to love this sunscreen, I will use it forever! Of course, I will update this review if my skin doesn’t continue to tolerate it…

I love it, it’s pretty expensive but worth it in my opinion. Seamless transition from my old sunscreen. Normally if I switch to a new product my skin gets a little fussy and breaks out. Didn’t have any issues with this sunscreen and it’s smoothed my skin out. Highly recommend if it’s in your budget.
but I’m glad I decided to give it a try
I was hesitant to buy this sunscreen since there was such a mix in reviews, but I’m glad I decided to give it a try. I use the sunscreen as part of my daily morning routine. I put it on after my moisturizer and it quickly absorbs into my skin and leaves my face with a matte finish. I have oily skin and so far this has not created any extra oil, in fact, my face has been less oily lately even with my makeup over the sunscreen. I haven’t had breakouts and the smell is very little to none as I got the unscented. As for the slight tint, I personally don’t see a difference on my face or that it makes it too light. I have medium/olive skin and although the sunscreen is lighter than my complexion, it doesn’t make it look light or unmatched, it’s more sheer looking. The price was also a little high and I was worried about spending the money for such a small amount, but as I said, it’s a really good product and I only need a very small amount to cover my entire face. I will definitely continue to purchase this product. As of this review I have used the product for an entire week.
Great for oily/acne prone skin, but wish it gave more coverage.

Was heading on a tropical vacation where only “reef-safe” sunscreens (aka mineral sunscreens) were allowed. I’d already accepted I’d be “fresh faced” for the trip (aka not my typical foundation/concealer comfort level), but was not looking forward to the greasy face regular sunblocks always give my oily skin, or the white mime-face from mineral sunscreens. (Plus, chemical sunscreens always seem to make me break out afterward, even Neutrogena ones.) I found Coola Matte Tint on a blog reviewing mineral sunscreens and thought the BB cream aspect of it might make it the perfect thing… Was it? Well, mostly, yes.
Sunscreen Seeker Finds Holy Grail

I am very picky(neurotic might be a better word) about the texture and scent of sunscreen since I have to wear it every day. I think I have tried every product on the market and there are some that I like (e.g., EltaMD) but they leave my greaseball face so shiny that I wouldn’t need a signal mirror if I ever got lost in the mountains. The shininess from other sunscreens also seems to increase the visibility of wrinkles that are inexorably invading my face. The Coola face sunscreen has a matte finish that really helps with the shininess and even tames the wrinkle visibility issue a bit too. I was a bit worried that “matte” would mean “pasty’ but the effect is subtle. It goes on easily and I also appreciate that it has no detectable scent.
Finally a sunscreen that doesn’t ruin my foundation
This is by far the best sunscreen I’ve ever used on my face. It isn’t greasy or sticky at all. In fact it has a soft slip to it like face primers made with silicon. I’ve been using it as a primer and don’t have any complaints. The light tint is just enough to even my complexion out and I often don’t even bother with actual foundation. Definitely give this a try if you’re looking for a sunblock that doesn’t destroy your makeup.
