Wonderful. I use this for chin/neck hairs. Gets every hair. I recommend exfoliating and washing area after hair removal to avoid irritation, bumps and pimples.

Easy way to make it more pain free:

I started using an epilator many years ago and many of the hairs have never grown back – and those that have are growing in much finer. I love not having to shave every day, I love how my underarms and bikini area don’t have visible dark hair stubble – and look hair free. Yes it hurts a little but there are a few things I’ve found to make it much more comfortable: 1) take 3 or 4 (no more!) Advil or Ibuprophen pills about 45 minutes before you start, 2) take a bath and soak the legs/area in very warm water to soften the skin and make hair easier to remove, 3) right before you start, spray Bactine on the area, let it dry, then start using the epilator (Bactine has a pain reliever ingredient that will help relieve the discomfort)

Not gonna lie, it hurts

All epilators hurt, but that’s not why I only gave 4 stars. Takes several times to get all the hair. Works decent for an epilator, just wish it got more hair each pass. Took an hour to do both lower legs (and, yes, it hurt).

Deal with the pain & live with the beauty 😉

The first time you use it WILL be the worst. After that, each time will be easier. It’s like having a waxer on demand. For date night with the husband I use this & then shave, my legs feel like butter, even after I get goose bumps!

Very handy!

I normally remove my hair by plucking, so I love this epilator! It’s super efficient and i don’t find it painful at all.

This has been my second time using an epilator and I have to say that it is not too painful, at least not for me

This epilator is affordable, efficient, and looks and works as expected. This has been my second time using an epilator and I have to say that it is not too painful, at least not for me. The first couple of minutes are the hardest but then the skin gets desensitized and the pain diminishes. For those with sensitive skin (like mine) and who do not handle pain well, it is always a good idea to relax the skin in warm water before using the device. I also moisturize with raw coconut oil after using the epilator because of the oil’s soothing and antimicrobial properties.

This is my first epilator so I have nothing to compare it to but I think this is a good one. The light on it is perfect and the cored is a great length. I looked at battery operated one’s too because people talked about using these in the shower but now that I’ve tried it I wouldn’t ever want to use one in the shower. I bought this one because it was reviewed as being the best for bikini areas but I find it too big to get into all the nooks and crannies. However, it works well on my legs and larger areas. It doesn’t pick up every single hair but it gets the coarse stuff and following it up with a shave will get the left over little blondies leaves you smooth for a week. I love the convenience!

This is my first epilator and I’m very happy with it. I like the fact it plugs in so I don’t have to deal with a battery wearing down. Tons of reviews talk about having this big long process of exfoliating and showering etc. etc. before epilating but I think those people are being too complicated. As long as your skin is clean, you can use it. Depending on the area it will hurt a little or hurt a lot. But to me the pain is worth it to not have to use a razor.

I have been using the Braun Silk-epil for over 25 years and it finally gave out. I just received my new one and it is just a great as my old one. After using it for so many years I hardly have to shave at all. The best on the market. No stubble and when the hair does grow out it is softer than when using a regular razor or other types of electric shavers. Would not use anything else.
