Customer Reviews

Great quality, and fits well even with medium length hair.

This shower cap was exactly as expected. It was large enough to hold medium length hair, cute, and well made. See photos for my hair length. I’m glad I bought this one.

A little too tight. Maybe I have a big head…

It’s a really nice shower cap, and I was glad to find it since there’s not much selection at the stores. That said, it’s pretty tight and sometimes snaps down over my eyes. I’m hoping it will loosen up a bit over time.

Really nice shower cap, WAY better than the cheapie plastic ones!

I will often skip the hair-wash, sometimes to save time in the shower, but mostly because my hair tends to behave a little nicer when it’s had a day or two to relax. I’d been using the disposable, 20 for $5 pack of shower caps from Sally Beauty for years (well, using the same one until it managed to get a hole somehow), and for whatever reason recently decided to get a nice, durable, stylish shower cap. I went back and forth between several, and ended up choosing this Betty Dain Fashionista cap because it was Prime, plastic lined, and seemed to be of decent quality.

This is great!

I love this so much! My hair is dyed and I cannot wash it everyday. I have been using disposable shower caps but unfortunately they were too small so my hair would not fit completely into the shower caps. This one is huge! There’s so much space for hair in there, and the band is nice and tight so no water will get in, and no hair will get out!

Works great and is a great value for the price

I bought a bunch of these Betty Dain shower caps because I’m so impressed with how well made they are and how well they work. They keep my hair dry, and the double layer of nylon with the Peva lining keeps out humidity while in the shower. I thought the polka dots would be fun since I’ve got the pink stripe and another design as well. I’ve read the reviews on this and other Betty Dain caps like this about water getting in, and/or the elastic being too tight. But I can honest say, I’ve not had a problem at all with these.

Would recommend!

I haven’t had it for a long time, so can’t comment on how well it will hold up over time, but so far it’s perfect. I wear it in the shower so that I don’t have to wash my hair every single day. For a shower cap, I think it’s pretty comfortable. Not too tight, but still seals things off so that the water can’t get in. It was only $6.95 when I purchased it, so a great price.

… I bought this I didn’t think I’d have anything great to say about a shower cap

When I bought this I didn’t think I’d have anything great to say about a shower cap, they all seemed the same. This is really nice though! It is very sturdy, and I imagine it will last a long time. The elastic is also snug enough that I’m not worried a bit of hair will fall out. It has lots of room too, I have fairly short fine hair, so it doesn’t really matter, but it seems like a lot of hair can fit in this cap. Also shower caps are not exactly cute looking in general, but this is about a cute as I imagine they can be.

Not a good fit for every one!

This item would be perfect for woman with lots of hair or a larger head than mine. I’m very petite, just under 5’3, with small features. This includes my head. There was just to much extra space in the shower cap, I felt like it was suffocating me. Its pretty big. Disappointing because it is SO cute. Since I wasnt going to use it, I gave it to my friend who has hair that is longer and fuller than mine and she absolutely loves it.

Not as big as I was hoping for, but I like it.

I do wish it were a little bigger. I think I have a large head and I definitely have a lot of hair. It does fit and the size is fine, but I was expecting and hoping for more room. I’m very sensitive, so I was worried the elastic would be too tight based on the comments. Overall it’s not too tight, but the elastic can hurt my earlobes if they’re not tucked in enough, which is easy to fix.
