I long ago concluded that the traditional ways of removing thickened hardened skin on the feet, such as pumice stones, balms and lotions, do not work. Then I went for a pedicure where the beautician used a dremel to remove the calluses on my feet! Her method really works, but is sometimes too intense and burns. The dremel experience sent me looking for something similar to use at home, and I first found the version of this Emjoi tool that is battery powered. I have used the battery powered version for several years and have bought it for others, and it works fine, but does go through batteries pretty quickly. So, when I saw the power cord version, I jumped at it, and Voila – It is great. It is more powerful than the battery operated version and doesn’t wind down or involve the considerable additional cost of replacement batteries. This is unquestionably the best product on the market for making the skin on your feet baby soft. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Great product.

This callus remover worked very well from the first day. It was powerful, easy to use, and very effective. After a little more than 5 months, the drive mechanism began to fail. The motor continued to run smoothly, but the connection between the motor and the roller began to slip. It made a loud, very unpleasant screeching sounds, and was basically unusable. The product came with a 1 year warranty, so I was somewhat optimistic.

Feel like I lost 5 lbs!

Well I went back and forth about which product I should buy bc I have some nasty dry feet! Went with this one bc of the cord instead of batteries. It is Freaking amazing. In my pics I have the before, then the after with the blue insert file (which is what comes with the machine) then the final after I did the green one which I guess is the most hardcore one. (I had to order these separate)I do wish the machine came with the green ones instead of the blue ones as my feet needed the strongest possible help. Sorry for my nasty feet! But I think it helps to see what a difference it makes. I’m gonna need to order the green refills again- I wish they weren’t so expensive but still cheaper than a pedicure I guess! 🙂

Really does the job

Having tried many manual abrading products, as well as several foot creams, with no real success, I decided to give this “foot sander” a try. It really does the job! I had a lot of callus build-up to remove, more than I even realized until it was revealed as I worked my way through, but this corded callus remover stood up to the job and did it very well. The only complaint is that I wish it had come with the Xtreme Rollers instead of the Extra Coarse, as my initial use of the rollers used up the abrasive rather quickly. Once I ordered the Xtreme Rollers, the job went very quickly, and I doubt I will use the finer abrasive rollers very often, as I do not tend to keep up with the callus problem, so need the heavy-duty rollers to catch up. Changing the rollers is a snap; I just wish that they weren’t so pricey. The reason I rated this product with 4 stars instead of 5 is because the design of the head prevents getting into the tight spot just underneath my center toes very well. Also, I recommend going with the corded version if you have a serious callus problem. Great product!

So this thing is AMAZING. It arrived in the mail a few hours ago and mylife is changed. Ok, not really but this thing does what it says. I had two babies in a short span of time which left zero time for thing like taking care of my feet. They are (were) in rough shape. I’ve been trying every cream and tool out there to no avail. When I have gone to get a pedicure the people give me that look like, yikes! But now the calluses are gone and my feet are smooth smooth smooth. This only takes a light touch to get the job done, press too hard and you won’t get the desired result. You just need to lightly hold the roller on your foot and keep it moving. Using it from different angles helps too. So glad I bought this.

Love it !

The best part of this product is that it is electric, which means you dont need to waste money on batteries. Thanks to other pedi product reviews I learned that you have to use it smoothly, there is no need to add pressure while using it. Thats the mistake most people make and for that reason it doesn’t work for some people. My advice is to use a regular toothbrush to clean the roller, the more you clean your roller means you can extend its use. I really love this product!!! I hope they make it Prime soon, because I want to buy more to give as a gift!

LOVE IT!!!!!

This item really works. The blue roller works for my feet but if you have really bad callus’ I suggest buying the green roller also.

Safety vigilance is all you need for this great product.

I am a diabetic and my feet are in terrible shape. Dry, cracked and calloused. Before I begin, I would be remiss if I failed to mention that electric devices such as this are typically NOT recommended for diabetics. This is because if you are not super vigilant with caution, you can very easily cause yourself an abrasion. Cuts, abrasions or any type of injuries to a diabetic (especially in the feet or legs) are nightmares to heal and quite serious. So, if you are a diabetic and plan to use this product, you should be absolutely certain that you (or whoever is going to be using it on you) will not be in a hurry, take your time and don’t rush. Basically, touch it to a spot once or twice and then FEEL with your finger or hand to make sure that you’re not going too deep or causing any type of injury. Do this every time and every spot. If you’re like me, you’ll eventually want to go a little faster and cover more ground. However, I didn’t because I know from past experiences what this can cause.
