I long ago concluded that the traditional ways of removing thickened hardened skin on the feet, such as pumice stones, balms and lotions, do not work. Then I went for a pedicure where the beautician used a dremel to remove the calluses on my feet! Her method really works, but is sometimes too intense and burns. The dremel experience sent me looking for something similar to use at home, and I first found the version of this Emjoi tool that is battery powered. I have used the battery powered version for several years and have bought it for others, and it works fine, but does go through batteries pretty quickly. So, when I saw the power cord version, I jumped at it, and Voila – It is great. It is more powerful than the battery operated version and doesn’t wind down or involve the considerable additional cost of replacement batteries. This is unquestionably the best product on the market for making the skin on your feet baby soft. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Great product.

This callus remover worked very well from the first day. It was powerful, easy to use, and very effective. After a little more than 5 months, the drive mechanism began to fail. The motor continued to run smoothly, but the connection between the motor and the roller began to slip. It made a loud, very unpleasant screeching sounds, and was basically unusable. The product came with a 1 year warranty, so I was somewhat optimistic.

LOVE IT!!!!!

This item really works. The blue roller works for my feet but if you have really bad callus’ I suggest buying the green roller also.

Don’t bother with a battery powered units – this is the only way to go! It smooths Florida feet to perfection. The Emory spools last a long time. I bought the refills and I haven’t had to use them yet. This is a powerful unit and as you move it over your feet it will kick-up a dust that is easily blown away (I do this several times during a session) so I suggest you use it in the bathroom. When you are done you just pop the spool out and wipe the unit’s head with a wet paper towel. I find the best method in using this is to move it over the different areas in a circular motion, moving often and not holding it down in one area for an extended period of time. This is a powerful unit and you could create a sore place on your foot if you left it to grind away at one spot. Good quality and well worth the price. I am very well pleased with this and I now have Happy Feet.

Help for Plantar Psoriasis

 on April 17, 2017

I have only had this 1day so I can’t speak to its longevity … but after only 1 use … my feet feel better than they have for a year. I suffer from severe plantar psoriasis. At times my feet were so cracked and bleeding that walking was difficult. Even when not in a “flare-up” my feet were so ugly it was embarrassing. I bought this machine and the attachment with the cone-shaped thingies. Used it for 10 minutes then put some oil on my feet … they look & feel almost normal again.

Feel like I lost 5 lbs!

Well I went back and forth about which product I should buy bc I have some nasty dry feet! Went with this one bc of the cord instead of batteries. It is Freaking amazing. In my pics I have the before, then the after with the blue insert file (which is what comes with the machine) then the final after I did the green one which I guess is the most hardcore one. (I had to order these separate)I do wish the machine came with the green ones instead of the blue ones as my feet needed the strongest possible help. Sorry for my nasty feet! But I think it helps to see what a difference it makes. I’m gonna need to order the green refills again- I wish they weren’t so expensive but still cheaper than a pedicure I guess! 🙂

Not perfect, but one of the better solutions on the market.

I had a bit of an unusual purchase experience. A couple of weeks after purchasing the products, I received a letter in the mail saying that the product shipment had been delayed due to some production issues that they were experiencing. With the letter, they included 2 additional free rollers to apologize for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. I patiently waited, and waited, and waited.. And finally after about another month to a month and a half, I finally received the product. So after receiving the product I had already waited nearly 2 months. I know that this was not a typical experience for most buyers and I don’t want to judge too harshly because the seller was friendly, apologetic, and offered the free rollers. However I did mention this because it’s important to know that this item is shipping from another country and will take a couple of weeks (minimum) to arrive. I just wanted to mention that and now I will continue with my product review:
