Great device

Older model, but I like it. Especially as a first-time kit. If this is your first time epilating, yes, it does hurt. There will be pain, tears, maybe a little blood. You’ll swear with words you didn’t knew you knew, and look like a plucked chicken after all your hard work and maybe even still feel a little stubble.. BUT I don’t think any device can make that better when we’re talking about ripping hair from the roots with a whirling barrel of tweezers. If your old enough, just take a shot of Sailor Jerry. Throw on baby powder on the area you’re epilating and go for it. Have some coconut oil and aloe vera gel on hand to soothe the skin when you’re done. Witch hazel to keep it clean later. You’ll heal really nice. The more regularly you do it, the smoother you’ll be, and the less it’ll hurt.

I had no idea if an Epilator would work for me and read so many reviews prior to buying. After a year of use, here is my feedback to help you decide if this is for you.

I read lots of reviews and no one seemed to address my main problem. I have chin hair and a moustache. And the other facial hair has been growing longer. I cannot even begin to calculate the hours i put into waxing and plucking trying to stay ahead of this and feeling like a beast. I used this device for only my face: forehead, cheeks, neck, moustache. I used the massage adapter, as i comes right out of box. Everyone has different senistivity…but not bad at all and the most surprising thing was going over the same place, i was immediately desensitized!

I have never epliated before but after doing some research i wanted to give it a try. I felt the price was reasonable and liked that this came with a razor attachment that way if i didn’t like epliating I’d still use it.

Works great! Tips for pain management in review.

This is my first epilator. I read a lot of reviews before choosing this one. I didn’t buy Philips because my husband has a trimmer from them & it keeps breaking. I wanted a name brand.

Works Great!

This Product works great! easily plucks hair and pain is tolerable. I have not used the cooling pack, but I have used one of these for many many years so my hair is not as plentiful as it used to be so the pain is less. The shaver with trim head works perfect to get the hair to a good length for pluck, but unless it is really long it will even pluck it without trimming it. If you can take the bit of pain it really does work and soon less and less hairs grow back. I can go close to 2 weeks in between pluck sessions ( I am not as picky as some about every little speck of hair) So much better than shaving! I have used it on my mustache, it works if you keep the skin tight. I tried it on my armpits and could not stand it.

I love this brand I had one for 15 years and believe it or not still works but was very painful to use since it was pulling my skin (probably because it was too old already) so I bought this one since I was already used to the cord and it has as many tweezers as the most expensive ones and let me tell you this is PERFECT!!!!

It is like a snap of rubber band in the beginning but …

I read the reviews and followed the advice. 1. make sure the hair isn’t too long (it tugs repeatedly before maybe pulling out the hair) 2. use on clean dry skin straight out of a bath/shower. 3. push the cord firmly into the base and you shouldn’t have an problems 4. I use a soft natural scrub brush in the shower to remove dead skin cells limiting ingrown hairs.

If you’re looking for a great-but-not-so-expensive epilator… This is it.

I despise shaving and I knew the pain of waxing, but it wasn’t the pain that scared me from buying an epilator. To be honest, it was the cost. I didn’t want to buy a cheap one for the fear that, well, it would be a bad epilator. But I also didn’t want to buy an expensive one, just in case it didn’t live up to its performance. I didn’t want to waste my money. Luckily, this product seemed a good in-between and it doesn’t disappoint. I know people who’ve had their Brauns for three or four years and they’re still going strong, so if mine lasts as much I’ll be a happy woman.
